| Important things to remember |
Saying that, this week has been good running wise. My first serious 5k race is TWO WEEKS TODAY and well I'm sorted for it because I beat my goal time yesterday. Hashtag I'm so awesome. Ok that's silly because it may have been a one off and my goal time was only 30 minutes anyway AND I'm not this egotistical in real life I swear but to be honest the fact that I ran 5k in UNDER 30 minutes is still pretty much blowing my mind. I might try and actually go for 26 minutes now I am that excited by my small but also really big success.
The other thing I tried this week was YOGA. I am the world's least flexible person and while it was good fun it was also super embarrassing because
- It was like a strength workout NO ONE TOLD ME THIS I don't have any strength
- I have no balance and kept falling over during serene moments
- I have no flexibility and everyone else was like a dancing bird and doing scary things with their legs whilst I could barely touch my toes
However, I hate being bad at things so I will be back next Wednesday to prove (embarrass) myself again
